For Talent (Performers)
How do I get paid?
Venues pay upfront at booking. After your gig is completed and the transaction closes, your payout is automatically sent to your bank account through our payment processor.
⚠️ You must complete payout onboarding to receive payments.
When will I receive my payout?
Payouts are released after the gig date according to GigWerk’s payout schedule. Bank transfer timing may take several business days depending on your bank.
Why do I need to verify my identity?
Identity verification is required by our payment processor to comply with financial regulations. GigWerk does not control or store this information.
Can I accept payment outside GigWerk?
No. All bookings and payments must occur on the platform. Off-platform payments violate our Terms of Service and may result in account suspension.
What happens if a venue cancels?
Cancellations and refunds depend on:
• Timing of the cancellation
• The booking’s cancellation policy
You’ll be notified immediately if a booking is canceled.
What if a venue doesn’t provide what was agreed?
We encourage Talent and Venues to resolve issues directly. If needed, contact support with booking details and documentation.

When am I charged?
Your card is charged at the time of booking confirmation.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes, subject to the cancellation policy shown at checkout. Refund eligibility depends on how close the cancellation is to the event date.
What if Talent cancels or doesn’t show?
Contact support immediately. We’ll review the booking details and assist according to platform rules.
Payments, Fees & Payouts
What fees does GigWerk charge?
GigWerk charges a platform service fee, which is clearly shown at checkout. Payment processing fees may also apply.
Why is money held after payment?
Funds are held until the booking is completed to protect both Talent and Venues. This ensures accountability on both sides.
Account & Safety
Is GigWerk a talent agency?
No. GigWerk is a booking marketplace. Talent set their own rates and manage their own bookings.
How do I report inappropriate behavior?
Contact support with:
• Booking ID
• Names involved
• Description of the issue
We take safety and community standards seriously.
Can GigWerk remove accounts?
Yes. Accounts may be suspended or removed for violating our Terms of Service.
Technical Issues
I can’t complete my payout setup
Make sure:
• All required fields are completed
• Your legal name matches your bank account
• Verification documents are clear and valid
If issues persist, contact support.
I’m seeing an error or something isn’t working
Include:
• A description of the issue
• Screenshots (if possible)
• The email tied to your account
